nokia500 images

The Nokia 500 is an entry-level smartphone and that’s what Nokia are good at. It won’t deliver super multimedia but it will open those internet pages for you and do it the way a true modern smartphone should – with multi-touch support. It’s the complete smartphone experience with the speed of a 1GHz CPU, solid connectivity, free SatNav and multi-tasking, all in a much friendlier Symbian Anna fashion.

Nokia 500 at a glance:

  • General: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps
  • Form factor: Touchscreen bar
  • Dimensions: 111.3 x 53.8 x 14.1 mm, 73 cc; 93 g
  • Display: 3.2-inch 16M-color nHD (360 x 640 pixels) TFT capacitive touchscreen
  • Memory:2 GB of inbuilt storage, microSD card slot (up to 32GB)

    nokia500 images

  • OS: Symbian Anna OS
  • CPU: ARM 11 1GHz processor, 256 MB RAM
  • Camera: 5 megapixel fixed-focus camera with geotagging, VGA video recording @15fps
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, stereo Bluetooth v2.1, microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS receiver with A-GPS
  • Misc: Accelerometer, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Flash lite 4.0, changeable colored back-panels, proximity sensor
  • Battery: 1110 mAh Li-Ion battery, quoted for up to 7h/5h talk time in GSM/HSDPA mode and 500h/455h standby.

With an upgraded processor, penta-band worldwide coverage and improved data speeds, the Nokia 500 means business. But it knows its target audience and tries to stays relevant with the feature set and customization options including exchangeable back covers

It keeps an eye on budget too. The all-plastic finish, garden variety TFT display, fixed-focus camera with no flash and VGA-only video are compromises that had to be made. It still looks like a viable option – a young, affordable smartphone with a good speed boost and colorful personality.

Looks like an easy one to get along with. We guess we can cut the courtesies and move on. We only have time for a short preview anyway.

Nokia N900 review:GOOD ONE

Jun 14th, 2011 Posted in Nokia Series | 2 comments »

The nokia n900 is an awsume mobile phone still loved by alot of people couple of years has been passed yet it has been released but still it is sign of attraction for some nokia phone lovers and still is doing a big deal business

NOKIA N900 IMAGE

here is a review for those who want to know much more about noki n900.

Key features

  • 3.5″ 65K-color resistive touchscreen of WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) resolution
  • Maemo 5 OS
  • State-of-the-art Mozilla-based web browser with Adobe Flash 9.4 support
  • Slide-out three-row full QWERTY keyboard
  • ARM Cortex A8 600MHz CPU, PowerVR SGX graphics accelerator; 256 MB of RAM
  • Quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G support
  • 5 MP autofocus camera with dual-LED flash and active camera lens cover

    NOKIA N900

  • WVGA (848 x 480 pixels) video recording @ 24fps
  • 10 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA support
  • Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS
  • 32GB onboard storage
  • DivX and XviD video playback
  • Foldable kickstand
  • microSD card slot with microSDHC support
  • Built-in accelerometer
  • Proximity sensor
  • 3.5 mm audio jack and TV-out
  • FM Radio receiver, FM transmitter
  • microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v2.1
  • Solid audio quality
  • Kinetic scrolling
  • Contacts integration of Skype, Google Talk and other VoIP services
  • Great build quality

Main disadvantages

NOKIA N900 preview

  • Large and heavy
  • UI only works in landscape mode (for now)
  • No video call capabilities, smart and voice dialing
  • Outdated camera interface and features
  • No preinstalled voice-guided SatNav application
  • No voice recorder, no MMS, and no handwriting recognition
  • No FM radio application (despite that the hardware’s there)
  • Limited third-party software availabilty
  • Limited 3G support in the US (no AT&T)

In our preview we saw the Nokia N900 as a lean and mean browsing machine. This price range though has little to no room for one-trick ponies. The chubby phone/tablet will have to play its best and that’s where Nseries come in. Of course, the Maemo has still to catch up with Symbian in terms of system expandability but the N900 is an Nseries handset and all-round service is implied.

NOKIA N900

One thing to definitely note about the Nokia N900 is the WVGA screen, which is not too frequent to see in other smartphones – platform limitations are hard to get around. There is of course the Vodafone 360 H1produced by Samsung and running LiMo, which even adds 16M-colors support, but it’s very much a niche device. Now add the QWERTY keyboard, which turned out pretty comfortable despite the three-row layout, and things are starting to get there.

So, it’s time we checked what the Nokia N900 can do for you and where it can possibly fail. A new OS (new to phones anyway) should be able to at least come close to the current crop of smartphone platforms and show a high enough development potential. For what we saw in our preview, the Maemo and the N900 may as well be even more ambitious. But if you take nothing for granted you’ve come to the right place

Nokia N8 review:PHOTOGRAPHIC

Jun 8th, 2011 Posted in Nokia Series | one comment »

Nokia the n series has gained alot of popularity because of its its royality but this time it has some different thing to do instead of making changes in its screen connectiviy etc it has made something new in its nokia n8 tat is nokia has concentrated more on its photographic features nokia n8 has a latest photographic tool it has a quite large camera 1.83 inches which is 12 mega pixels i think tats enough for a fascinating shot. here is its review.

nokia N8 image

The Finnish engineers often like to make a point about Symbian being the most resource-effective OS. We’ve seen it run reasonably fast indeed on even slower CPUs. This time though it’s Symbian ^3, so we’ll have to see it again to believe it.

Key features

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
  • Penta-band 3G with 10.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA support
  • Sleek anodized aluminum unibody
  • 3.5″ 16M-color AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution
  • 12 megapixel autofocus camera with xenon flash and 720p@25fps video recording

    nokia N8 smart phone

  • Camera features: large 1/1.83” camera sensor, mechanical shutter, ND filter, geo-tagging, face detection
  • Symbian^3 OS
  • 680 MHz ARM 11 CPU and 256 MB RAM
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • microHDMI port for 720p TV-out functionality
  • GPS receiver with A-GPS support and free lifetime voice-guided navigation
  • Digital compass
  • 16GB on-board storage, expandable through the microSD card slot
  • Active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic
  • DivX and XviD video support
  • Built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Standard 3.5 mm audio jack

    nokia N8 in orange colour

  • Stereo FM Radio with RDS, FM transmitter
  • microUSB port with USB On-the-go support
  • Flash and Java support for the web browser
  • Stereo Bluetooth 3.0
  • Nice audio reproduction quality
  • Smart and voice dialing
  • Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display

Main disadvantages

  • Symbian^3 is still behind Android and iOS usability standards
  • No video light
  • Camera interface is decidedly outdated
  • Relatively limited 3rd party software availability
  • No office document editing (without a paid upgrade)
  • Video player has some issues
  • Battery life is not on par with best in the business
  • Battery is not user-replaceable

There’s certainly a lot of pressure on the Nokia N8. People are probably expecting more from it than the very guys who designed it. But the N8 was

nokia N8 in black colour

never meant to compete with the iPhone 4 or the Galaxy S. At least, that’s what Nokia will gladly have you believe.

You see, with the Nokia N8 it’s not about who the competition is. Not about the business benefits of a smartphone, not about the available apps. It’s about the best camera in the business. Now, we’ll have to see about that. Again.

The N8 already managed to put a dedicated digicam to shame in our recent blind test. But it will take more than that to get the thumbs up at the end of a full review. The camera is certainly impressive but it’s the overall balance and bang-for-buck that count most in our books here so the N8 better have more aces up its sleeve.

THE NOKIA E5 REVIEW:A COMPLETE TEXTER

Jun 6th, 2011 Posted in Nokia Series | 2 comments »

The world nowadays is a global village every one is connected through different devices.mobile phones are being the top ones. nokia the leading mobile company has reached to many milstones in its lifetim we can take a best example of nokia E5 which is a very best tool for emailing and texting for both white color as well as ordinary people .this mobile phone had some extraordinary qualities here is its review.

NOKIA E5 PHOTO

The E5 has skill to match the E72 down to the last spec. OK, almost. Some features have sure taken a hit (what’s with the fixed-focus 5MP camera), but that’s something most people can live with considering the lower price of the E5.

Key features

  • QWERTY messenger bar
  • Quad-band GSM/EDGE
  • Tri-band 3G with 10.2Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA
  • Symbian S60 UI, 3rd edition FP2

  • VGA video recording at 15fps
  • Wi-Fi b/g; DLNA and UPnP support

  • Stereo FM radio with RDS, Internet radio
  • Bluetooth (with A2DP)
  • Standard microUSB port (charging)
  • microSD card slot (32GB supported, 2GB included)
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • Good email and social networking support
  • Office document editor; PDF viewer; ZIP file support
  • Good audio quality
  • Reasonable price
  • Microsoft Office Messenger support
  • Quick Business and Personal homescreen toggle

Main disadvantages

  • Non-hot-swappable microSD card under the battery
  • Camera doesn’t have autofocus
  • Poor video recording
  • Low-res screen isn’t very good for browsing
  • No native Twitter and MySpace clients

    NOKIA E5 BACK SIDE PREVIEW

The Nokia E5 is probably targeted at young people stuck in a corporate environment. Or maybe it’s caught in the trend of more and more companies betting on social networking to boost sales. Whatever the reason, the Nokia E5 has pretty extensive support for social networks and IM chatting to go along with strictly-business offerings like the Microsoft Office messenger.

No matter how good touchscreen input has gotten these last few years, a good old physical QWERTY is still the real deal. Which is why QWERTY messenger bars like the E5 can survive in a world dominated by touch phones.

NOKIA E5 live image

The high price associated with touch phones (at least the ones with a big enough screen to even consider heavy texting) makes the affordable Nokia E5 a sensible alternative – especially for users who think touchscreen doesn’t make sense in business.

Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type review:have both

Jun 5th, 2011 Posted in Nokia Series | one comment »

The nokia c3-01 touch and type is a remarkable approach by nokia by introducing both features of touch screen and typing capability in a single phone now it all depends upon you wether you are using the touch mode or typing one .nokia always has been in search of new discoveries and this is one of them.

nokia c3-01 touch and type image

But you know what, you can be as uncertain and old-fashioned and backward about touchscreen as you like. And still be prepared. The transition doesn’t have to be painful says Nokia with their C3-01 Touch and Type.

And as we found out reviewing the Nokia X3-02, the touchscreen/numpad combo worked impressively well on a slim metallic body. Little wonder then, Nokia are going for the same thing with the C3-01 Touch and Type.

Key features

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
  • Quad-band 3G with 10Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA
  • Neat and well built, slim, light and metal clad
  • 2.4″ 256K-color resistive TFT QVGA touchscreen
  • S40 6th edition UI
  • 5 megapixel fixed-focus camera

nokia c3-01 touch and type display

  • VGA video recording at 15fps
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS, Visual radio
  • Bluetooth v2.1 (with A2DP)
  • Standard microUSB port (charging enabled)
  • USB On-The-Go functionality
  • microSD card slot (32 GB supported)
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • Extra soft and precise haptic feedback

Main disadvantages

  • Small screen (for a touch phone)
  • No multitasking
  • No GPS

nokia c3-01 touch and type phone preview

  • Fixed-focus camera
  • No smart dialing
  • No video-call camera
  • No adequate storage out of the box
  • No accelerometer sensor
  • No document viewer

The Nokia C3-01 starts from roughly the same spot as its X3-02 sibling. And obviously, it isn’t going anywhere more exciting or advanced. This kind of phones have their limitations and they’re more than obvious. S40 handsets have been getting a lot of stick (at least from us) for the lack of even basic multitasking, smart dialing and a document viewer.

nokia c3-01 touch and type back side preview

But still, we did like the touch and type concept – more for the look and feel and less for the features. The C3-01 will have to live up to a very high standard of build quality and design to boost its chances of survival. It certainly helps though to have a true classic and a massive bestseller as an inspiration. The Nokia 6300 belongs to different times but its timeless charm is all over the C3-0

Nokia X5-01 review:all square

May 30th, 2011 Posted in Nokia Series | 2 comments »

nokia every time experiments a new item with new verieties and its successful all time as  we know maximum risk maximum profit so here it is nokia nokia x5-01 with a square shape and qwerty key board with a 5mp camera and a smooth sliding its all new .

Nokia x5-01 image

The struggle to provide a better system of text input while keeping the size down is still ongoing. Touchscreen provides an answer of sorts, but nothing yet really beats an old-fashioned hardware QWERTY keyboard.

The full four-row keyboard on the Nokia X5 has a long list of applications – from SMS and email, to IM and social networking. The Nokia X5-01 sports a dedicated media key too – it’s no square when it comes to having fun.

The 5MP camera is a constant source of photos to share with friends and you can do it over Wi-Fi, no need for a data plan. The Nokia X5-01 is a full-blown smartphone too – 600MHz and 256MB RAM put it within a stone’s throw of the Nokia N8 performance. And the Ovi Store is steadily growing with new and useful apps.

We were a little disappointed to find the X5-01 doesn’t have a GPS receiver. Check out our list of pros and cons to see what made the cut and what didn’t.

Key features

  • Full QWERTY slider form factor
  • Quad-band GSM/EDGE, tri-band 3G with HSDPA and HSUPA
  • Symbian S60 UI, 3rd edition FP2

    nokia x5-01 all square

  • Standard microUSB port (charging)
  • microSD card slot (32GB supported, 2GB included)
  • Wi-Fi b/g; DLNA and UPnP support
  • Bluetooth (with A2DP)
  • Accelerometer-based controls
  • Dedicated media key
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS, Internet radio
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • Excellent audio quality
  • Comes With Music bundle in select markets
  • Good email and social networking support
  • Office document viewer; ZIP file support
  • Quick Business and Personal homescreen toggle

Main disadvantages

nokia x5-01 display

  • No GPS receiver
  • No office document editing
  • Small, low-resolution screen
  • Non-hot-swappable microSD card under the battery
  • Fixed focus camera
  • Poor video recording
  • No camera lens protection
  • No DivX or XviD video support out-of-the-box
  • No smart dialing

So, some things were left out, but Nokia managed to fit a lot of features in a small package. The last square-shaped QWERTY messenger we reviewed was the Motorola Flipout, which had its own set of pros and cons. For one thing, the Nokia X5-01 is a cheaper entry into the world of smart messengers. And it’s an entry with a bang.

It’s clearly not a phone that will appeal to everyone, but some will fall for its looks and rectangular charm. And as far as non-touch smartphones go, the Nokia X5-01 actually ranks pretty high on features.

It has a couple of nice accelerometer-based tricks too. If you press and hold the volume key, then shake the X5-01 it will “knock” several times – according to how many new messages you have. You can also skip a music track by shaking the phone.

Now, you can go ahead and skip to the next page for the hardware tour. We begin with unboxing and the 360-degree spin.

Nokia E7 review:HERE IT COMES

May 27th, 2011 Posted in NOKIA E7, Nokia Series | no comment »

Hmm here it comes the E7 nokia is in the business .the E series of nokia has always been apleasure and sign of excitment when they are in the market. the E7 is the latest of nokia phones and quiet a good one also.

NOKIA E7 PHOTOS

Symbian is just about to be knocked off the top-spot as the market-leading smartphone platform. Worse yet, while loyal users are still sitting on a fence about replacing their E71/E72s Nokia is deciding whether to euthanize Symbian. Question marks have been hanging over the platform’s approach to touchscreen since day one. And now it’s got WP7 at its very doorstep. It’s the worst of times for the Nokia E7. But it’s up to it to show that the Eseries are still open for business.

Key features

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
  • Penta-band 3G with 10.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA
  • Anodized aluminum unibody
  • 4″ 16M-color ClearBlack AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution

    NOKIA E7 SCREEN PHOTO

  • Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display
  • 8 megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash
  • 720p video recording @ 25fps
  • Symbian^3 OS
  • 680 MHz ARM 11 CPU and 256 MB RAM
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • microHDMI port 720p TV-out functionality
  • GPS receiver with A-GPS support and free lifetime voice-guided navigation
  • Digital compass
  • 16GB of on-board storage
  • Active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic
  • DivX and XviD video support
  • Built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Standard 3.5 mm audio jack
  • Stereo FM Radio with RDS, FM transmitter
  • microUSB port with USB On-the-go
  • Flash and Java support for the web browser
  • Stereo Bluetooth 3.0
  • Good quality audio
  • Smart and voice dialing
  • Office document editor preinstalled

Main disadvantages

NOKIA E7 IN BLACK

  • Symbian^3 is still behind Android and iOS usability standards
  • Ovi store content is inferior to Android market and App Store
  • Fixed-focus on an 8 megapixel camera is just wrong
  • Camera interface is decidedly outdated
  • Battery is not user-replaceable
  • No microSD card slot

Now, Nokia reconfirmed their commitment to Symbian in the short-term, but that doesn’t mean much. If the platform is to be scrapped, users will learn it the hard way when regular updates stop coming in. Occasional bug-fixes is the best they can hope to get. And good software support is among of the main reasons why people still choose Nokia.

However, how much short-term can stretch depends on the success of the current Symbian^3 devices. So if the Nokia E7 does at least as well on the market as the N8, it might as well buy the platform a few extra years.

NOKIA e7 SIZE ,WIDTH , AND SLIMNESS

As you can see from the lists above, the Nokia E7 is basically a larger N8, trading the camera bulk for a a larger and better display and a full QWERTY keyboard. To be honest though, when we reviewed the N8 it was mostly the camera we were delighted with. Then, that was five months ago and the bar is set higher now.

The Nokia E7 certainly won’t have an easy ride throughout this review. Let’s see how it handles the press

NOKIA E6 ATTRACTIVE AT FIRST GLANCE

May 26th, 2011 Posted in Nokia Series | one comment »

INTRODUCTION:nokia has launched its new product the new E6 this mobile phone is going to spoil the party for its simblings of E series .this new E6 has many innovated features which makes it different from the rest .ueven it will catch your concentration at first glance.

NOKIA E6 SYMBIANs3

The E6 is Nokia’s first handset with VGA resolution and also Nokia’s first QWERTY bar with a touchscreen. Its pixel density is even higher than the Apple’s Retina display. The E6 doesn’t stop here though – it packs the same camera module as most of its Symabian^3 siblings – an 8 megapixel fixed-focus sensor capable of HD video recording. Add the new Symbian^3 update – Anna – and we might have a potent business or messaging phone if not else.

  • General: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz, HSDPA 10.2 Mbps, HSUPA 2 Mbps
  • Form factor: Touchscreen bar
  • Dimensions: 115.5 x 59 x 10.5 mm, 87 cc; 133 g
  • Display: 2.46-inch 16M-color VGA TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen
  • Memory: 8GB storage memory, 1GB ROM, hot-swappable microSD card slot (up to 32GB)
  • OS: Symbian Anna OS
  • CPU: ARM 1176 680 MHz processor, Broadcom BCM2727 GPU; 256 MB RAM
  • Camera: 8 megapixel fixed-focus camera with dual-LED flash, geo-tagging; 720p video recording@25fps
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, microUSB port with USB on-the-go, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS receiver with A-GPS, HDMI port
  • Misc: Accelerometer, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Flash support in the web browser, proximity sensor, Battery: 1500 mAh Li-Ion batteryNOKIA E6 in TWO DIFFERENT COLOURS

As you can see the E6’s hardware is not top of the line, but we can assure you it’s perfectly fine for what it’s meant – replacing the Nokia E71 and E72 business messengers. The new Symbian Anna has lots of optimizations and seems to work seamless inside the E6. Surely, the E6 won’t attract everyone, but it has enough features to prove worthy.
